Star Trek Beyond

Star Trek Beyond
This review will be my thought on the summer block buster Star Trek Beyond.
This movie to me was one if the best in 2015. This movie was one of the best Star Trek Reboots. The movie opens up on a diplomatic meeting between Kirk (Chris Pine) and the Teenax.
This is a great opening to the movie because it is very reminiscent of the original series. The movie gets going fast, this is good because with modern movies they tend to spend too long defining characters and setting, however because we already know the characters and the enterprise.
The cinematography in this movie is truly amazing the sense of depth and vastness of space is immense. The sense of depth that Justin Lin created on the enterprise Was a thrill to watch, the characters seem as if they move around the ship instead of seeing a few rooms.
The villain is well founded however his story arch gets wrapped up too fast for my liking. For the general person going to the cinema you don’t need to watch the other two movies however you wont have the knowledge of the characters and the constant love interest between Uhura (Zoe Saldana) and Spock (Zachary Quinto) that unnecessary.
If you are looking to watch this movie it is available on DVD, Blu-ray and Now TV
